Reinforced Earth Wall

The Polymeric and Steel Reinforced Soil Systems provide fast and economic methods of building Earth Retaining Structures for various applications including industrial, highway, marine and river works.

The system has major economic advantages against conventional reinforced concrete retaining structures, the key reasons being economy, speed, simplicity, appearance and structural flexibility of the Reinforced Earth Walls.

Design and Execution

In 1986, East Construction and International Trading Company (East) executed the first application of Reinforced Earth Wall in Turkey as representative of “Websol”. Since then, East has designed and built over 650,000 m² of walls and bridge abutments for Turkey’s and its region’s largest motorways, various interchange roads, commercial and industrial projects.

East supplies composite polymer frictional ties (connected to the precast panels) from Linear Composites, Group Maccaferri.

East offers both Polimeric and Steel Reinforced Earthwall systems with pioneering engineering and construction solutions.

Engineered and Customized Solutions

East Construction and International Trading Company developed Polymer Connection Parasaddles® made of high tenacity polymer fibres and used to connect precast units to friction ties.
East’s Polymer Parasaddles® can be applied under severe structural loading and environmental conditions in compliance with the international specifications. With East’s high tenacity polymer Parasaddles®, Reinforced Earth structures become completely resistant to corrosion and to excessive settlements.
East is the sole responsible in design, production and distribution of the Polymer Parasaddles®
